Talkeetna Alaska is located 2.5 hours north of Anchorage and is accessible by vehicle, the Alaska Railroad, or by small aircraft. The townsite is located halfway between Anchorage and the entrance to Denali National Park. Many visitors get their best views of Mt. McKinley from Talkeetna due to the picturesque proximity to the Alaska Range and it's surrounding rivers. Talkeetna is at the confluence of three rivers hosting all 5 species of slamon, and a wide variety of boating and rafting oppotunities.
Denali State Park is 45 minutes north of the townsite with hiking trails that afford acces to the tundra and great view of McKinley from above treeline. Talkeetna has a unique history, is big on character, and is the jumping off place for expeditions up McKinley - making this small town a special place to visit.

Beach House Rentals is located on magical Lowell Pt., just 2.5 miles outside of Seward down akg scenic road along Resurrection Bay and the mountain. Beach House Rentals is on Beach Drive, right across the street from the beach. You can access the public beach just a short walk from the house. Salmon fishing is popular right from the beach and it is common to spot sea otters or sea lions right from the shore. There is also a short hiking trail nearby, where you can find the salmon upstream most of the summer at Tonsina Creek. Kayaking guides and rentals are available right on Lowell Pt. Fishing charters and whale watching tours, the Alaska Sealife Center and Exit Glacier are all attractions that you don't want to miss!

Just 24 mi. north of Seward our cottage is located in Chugach mountians on Trail River with Majestic views on all sides and many streams, lakes, and hiking trails. We are in the center of the Chugach national forest where wildlife is very abundant. There is incredable fishing, hiking, and bird watching all around our area.
The cottage has 3 seperate rooms with a Queen bed and private bath in each one. There is a nice common area that opens up on to a deck overlooking the river.
